For the Plugins that are tough to update…
Provide unaltered original files with a little context information: What is the problem? Where and what to look for in the code… Maybe even use some kind of self-hosted code collaboration platform.
Leverage the power of the community to deal with complex shortfalls of meeting GPL compliance requirements, maybe add incentives to chip in.
