Introducing Changelog and New Voting Mechanism for Wishlist

Hi everyone,

The current way of requesting and voting for wishes on our platform is outdated. After receiving loads of customer feedback, we decided to change this process. Now that requesting and voting for your beloved downloads has become a meaningful way to extend our library, we are changing this paradigm.

Changes to Voting Process

As a part of this change, we have moved all the voting from our community to our main website for various reasons. One of the most important reasons is that users can not filter, search, and track their votes and status.

Our wishlist page’s category view now displays the number of voters and the total average votes. You can now filter on the average star rating plus sort by the most popular wishes. We will add the most popular voted item to our library every week!

You can visit our wishlist using this link.

On the product page of the wish, you can vote for the item.

Cast your vote on the product page, which will be added as a vote! Everyone registered on our website can vote for their beloved theme or plugin. We aim to add your favorite items and become the world’s largest database of WordPress themes and plugins.

We will also introduce a new way to request new wishes to our platform this week. Please look in the announcement section for more information.

Updated Downloads can be tracked on our new Changelog page

Due to popular demand, we introduced a new page to view our latest updated items in table view.

To view the changelog, click this link.

You can filter on the last updated date, and if you require more filters, kindly let us know here, and we will be happy to introduce them.

Stay tuned for more updates!

Cheers,
Martin, CEO Festinger Vault

Hi, thanks for adding the table view on the changelog page. To simplify things, maybe you can add this view as an option on the “usual” plugins/themes list pages?
You could also improve it by adding some simple improvements to the table view; like in the screenshot attached here.
(you can see that a row is expandable to show more info (short description dev name, product page link, category…) and there is a direct “download” button for each row… making our lives easier. Also please remove the need to click on the download button again in the popup showing my only one “Lifetime VIP” plan with remaining “unlimited” downloads, as it is a pain and useless.

Also, please provide a way to filter on the following categories of plugins:

  • woocommerce plugins
  • wordpress plugins (not related to woocommerce)
