Over the past week, we’ve been moving Festinger Vault from a messy “4-systems duct-taped together” setup to one clean, unified platform. It’s a big leap forward — faster, simpler, and far more reliable — but the switch wasn’t painless. Some of you hit issues with logins, downloads, and certain item pages. I’m really sorry for the headaches. Thanks for hanging in there while we roll out the last fixes.
TL;DR
- We ditched our old “Frankenstein” setup and merged everything into a single, modern Festinger Vault. We will migrate our full system by upcoming week.
- Things are already much more stable and will keep improving over hours.
- As a thank-you, we’ve automatically added 31 days to all active subscriptions.

Here’s what changed, what’s already better, and what’s coming next.
What happened (and who was affected)
- We started routing real traffic through the new unified platform.
- Some users hit slow pages, 5xx errors, or stalled downloads — especially during peak hours.
- Others had no issues, which is why reports were mixed.
- We’ve been pushing fixes and tuning all week — stability is already way better and will keep improving over the next 48–72 hours.

We merged separate systems for logins, billing, search, downloads, and licensing into one. Benefits:

- AI Item Intel — quick summaries of changelogs and compatibility notes right on the item page.

- Only minimal metadata is processed to make features work.

What’s already shipped in the unified platform
- Keygen-backed licensing — stronger validation, clearer errors, machine tracking, and non-blocking suspend/reinstate flows.
- Sub-licenses for teams — add/revoke seats, set activation limits, and track activity.
- Overhauled item detail pages — cleaner design, file tree previews, version info, changelogs, and soon checksums for every asset.
- Custom collections and bookmarks — name, save, and instantly update plugin/theme sets.
- Reliable downloads — auto-resume, regional mirrors, clearer progress and error handling.
- Account and security upgrades — unified billing, device/session management, improved 2FA.
- Transparency tools — public status page and in-app banners when something’s wrong.

We’ll roll these out at a pace that keeps things stable.

How to know if an issue is on us (or local)
- We’ll post a banner if something core is down or degraded.
- Error pages now explain what’s wrong and what to do next.
- If unsure, contact us — we can check your account in real time.
If you’re still having trouble right now
- Try signing out/in if you’re stuck in a loop.
- Retry any stalled downloads — mirrors and resume are active.
- Send us your account email and a quick description/screenshot — we’ll look into it ASAP.
