Before You Post: Quick Checklist
Make sure you can say “yes” to the following:
- It’s 100% GPL licensed.
- It’s a plugin or theme for WP.
- The original source is public (official website, TF, CC, etc.)
- It’s not already in the Vault (use the search first!)
- It’s not on our Do Not Share list – Check the list here
If all clear – let’s gooo! 
How to Structure Your Request

How to Get Your File Added
Once your request is posted, here’s what happens:
Our team checks the GPL status and usefulness
If it qualifies, it goes into our review queue
We fork it into the Festinger Vault plugin system
You’ll see it announced in the New Uploads section once live
Everyone can vote on requests by liking the post — and the more votes a request gets, the faster it climbs the priority list! 
So rally your fellow Vault users and get those hearts going 
Pro Tips to Get Noticed
- Be respectful – we love open-source, and we appreciate original developers. We’re not here to steal, we’re here to share.
- Be clear – use the template so we don’t have to play detective.
- Be patient – requests take time, especially if it’s a rare unicorn.
- Make it juicy – a little enthusiasm goes a long way. If this plugin changed your life, tell us why!
What Happens After You Post?
- Our team reviews your request
- We verify the GPL license & usefulness
- If approved, we add it to our development queue
If it makes it into the Vault, you’ll see it announced in the New Uploads section!
(No ETAs, but the more demand a plugin has, the faster it usually happens.)
What Not to Do
- Don’t post nulled or pirated items
- No file uploads – just links, please
- No affiliate/referral links (they go straight to the brig)
- Don’t post duplicates – check if someone already requested it

We support the devs who build the magic
If you fall in love with a plugin you found through us and have the means — go buy it from the original author. Seriously. They deserve your support.
